Host Larry Kelp has some musical treats in store for you on "Sing Out" starting at 10 pm. Larry will be featuring the new Putumayo collection "New Orleans Playground" as well as the new jazz offering "Sound Grammar" from the legendary saxophonist Ornette Coleman. Speaking about legends, the Doug Sahm and Band recording from the 70’s featuring the late Doug "Sir Douglas" Sahm will be spotlighted as well as the John Fahey tribute cd featuring guitar phenom Henry Kaiser among others. The soundtrack off the phenomenal dvd "From The Big Apple To The Big Easy" featuring Bette Midler, The Meters, Elton John, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Diana Krall and others will round out this special program.
