The board has 4 pre-set configurations or layouts:
NORM TALK will set the board to be used for public affair shows such as daytime talk shows like UpFront.
NORM MUSIC and NORM MUS2 will set the board to be used for music shows.
NORM NATL will set the board to be used during shows that are broadcasted nationally.
Switching through the different layouts, you will notice that the assigned audio sources to each fader will change.
To select your preferred board layout, simply press on the button of your choice. Know that switching from one layout to another will not affect what the board is currently doing, do not panic. Whatever fader is live when you switch, will remain the same until it is turned off. Once turned on again, the fader will switch to its new source.
For music programmers, please cycle through both music layouts and decide which configuration you are most comfortable with and provides you with your desired audio sources.
Finally at the end of your show normalize the board to its default which is NORM TALK.
