  • Press the DROP button in red.

Multiple Callers:

You can have multiple callers on both AIR1 (red line assigned to the Caller 1) and AIR2 (blue line assigned to the Caller 2 fader).

To do so simply make your desired calls and place them on hold. You can then assign and lock in callers to either AIR1 (Caller 1 fader) or AIR2 (Caller 2 fader) and bring them up using their respective faders.

VIP Line and Outgoing Phone Number:

  • If you are coordinating a call and the guest would rather call in instead of having us call them, provide them with KPFA’s VIP number: (510) 704-1307. When someone calls the VIP line, the call will show up on line 6.
  • If you are coordinating a call to a guest ahead of time, it might be useful to let them know what number they should expect to show up on their caller ID. When calling someone using the phones, the recipient will see an incoming call from (510) 848-6767.
