It’s all William Burroughs and we hear a whole lot from the old and young geezer, himself. Dr. Benway operates throughout the show, and no blood is spared, including an emergency language warning from me. Along with lectures, panels, readings, and performances, we hear some of Burroughs’ very early voice experiments with audio tape machines and his explanation of the cut-up technique and process. Also, Laurie Anderson’s musical tributes to Sharky, and the entire poem, “Howl,” read by Allen Ginsberg.

3 Hours.
