The 2026 Antioch Juneteenth Celebration takes place on Friday, June 19 from 4pm to 8pm.
The celebration includes live music, youth performances, food and vendors, as well as tributes to Teena Marie and Frankie Beverly.
Short for June Nineteenth, Juneteenth is a holiday celebrating the 1865 emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States – marking the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to take control of the state and ensure the freedom of all remaining enslaved people. Texas became the first US state to celebrate Juneteenth in 1979. Officially becoming a US federal holiday in June of 2021, the City of Antioch is proud to present our fourth annual Juneteenth Celebration.
This Juneteenth Celebration takes place at the Williamson Ranch Park, located at 1201 W. 4th in Antioch.
