On Saturday, April 25th, all are invited to a public memorial for Dr. Michael Parenti, radical historian, social scientist, author, activist, and public speaker.
Michael Parenti’s voice was often heard on KPFA and he generously gave his time, as a speaker, to fundraise for the station.
The memorial will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley at Lawson Road in Kensington from 2 to 6 pm. Dennis Kucinich, Max Blumenthal, Jimmy Dore, Christian Parenti, and Marcie Smith will deliver eulogies between 2 and 3 pm, and a reception will follow from 3 to 6.
No one needs to RSVP to come, but the organizers are requesting RSVPs to help them plan ahead. There’s an RSVP form on the EventBrite announcement which can be found by searching online for “Michael Parenti Memorial.”
The church is wheelchair accessible.
