Garden for the Environment offers the following opportunities in July:
Beginning Beekeeping takes place on Saturday, July 19, from 10am to 12 pm. Whether you’re already keeping bees or simply curious, there’s something for you in this class which covers the basics on bees, swarming, pest management and more.
On Saturday, July 26, from 10am to 12pm, a Summer Fruit Tree Pruning class takes place. Fruit trees require year round care, and summer pruning is critical to their health. Summer pruning allows air and light to reach fruits and lower branches.
Garden for the Environment is located at 1590 7th Avenue in San Francisco.
