On Friday, September 6, Black Uhuru appears at the Sweetwater Music Hall. The performance takes place starting at 8pm.
For over 50 years Black Uhuru has remained one of the most popular and recognized reggae bands from Jamaica. These “ambassadors of reggae” were the first band to win a Grammy award for Best Reggae Album.
Black Uhuru has the highest reggae record sales after Bob Marley, and the most songs sampled by other artists over the years.
The Sweetwater Music Hall is located at 19 Corte Madera Avenue in Mill Valley.
