Both a donor-advised fund (DAF) and a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) can offer benefits for retirees who want to maximize their charitable donations as well as potentially receive tax benefits

Use QCDs to manage your required minimum distributions from an IRA.

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions.

Please contact your Financial Advisor or IRA trustee to take advantage of the QCD or DAF process for making a one-time or monthly donation.

KPFA’s bank account is titled: Pacifica Foundation dba KPFA Radio
