Now based in Nashville, Front Country began in the East Bay and quickly gained national notice by winning the band contests at RockyGrass in 2011 and Telluride Bluegrass 2012. Their 2014 release Sake of the Sound and their 2017 release Other Love Songs, both wound up on many Top Ten albums of the year list. They return to the Bay Area for shows in Felton on 2/13 and at Slim’s in San Francisco on Sat 2/17, and they’ll join host Tim Lynch to play live in KPFA’s Performance Studio on Dead To The World on Wed. 2/14 at 9pm. Tony Ferro will engineer the program.
