An exhibition of reverent photographs by Linda Elvira Piedra drawn from
the series The Stone Bridge, centered on the themes of love and friendship,
prominently expressed in the image of the tree peony, a flower native to
Southwestern China and Tibet. Linda Elvira Piedra is a local artist and California native who has lived
in Paris, Alaska, and New Mexico. She works in black and white, with an
8x10 view camera and has been photographing since 1995. She began growing

10th Annual SF World Music Festival - November 13-22 Various Venues SF-Berkeley

The 10th Annual San Francisco World Music Festival brought to you by Door Dog Music Productions will take place at various venues in San Francisco and Berkeley from November 13 through the 22nd.  This year the festival will be presenting An International Youth Music Initiative as it's theme.

Creativity and Healing

Drawing from the wisdom traditions of yoga and qigong and the latest discoveries of Cognitive Science, Dr. Amelia Barili will teach effective practices to access the mind through the body, and the body through the mind, for creativity, resilience and self healing. The workshops provide processes for working with stress and dealing with challenges as a source of inner strength and healing. 

 The Creativity and Healing workshops will take place at the Mount Madonna Center in Watsonville, CA, starting November 20th.
