Making Contact’s ElectionWatch ’04. Youth Vote: Mobilizing from the Grassroots. The nearly 43,000,000 young Americans between the ages of 18 and 30 comprise about 23% of the electorate. A strong youth turnout at the polls has the potential to swing the presidential elections of 2004.
