The Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center requests that community members nominate a youth organization, individual or group of young people (grades 6-12) who have shown a remarkable commitment to engaging in the struggle for human rights, peace, social justice, and/or youth empowerment.

All selected winners will be recognized in-person at our annual awards ceremony – set to take place this JUNE in the scenic courtyard of the Peace Center. For this special event, ALL are invited, including friends – teachers – and family – to attend to celebrate the achievements and work of the students!
Three selected awardees will receive a framed certificate, and the groups and/or students will be honored at our Awards Ceremony in June with a special award and a $100 grant. For more details, please visit our site: creatingpeacefulschools.weebly.co
