Complimentary Engineering Workshops for Students of Color

This 3 week Saturday program – led by Lifetech consultants - exposes students to structural engineering principles with the goal of motivating them to attend college and major in engineering.

Week 1 includes an introduction of force, load and structure. Week 2 introduces drafting and design principles. The final week features bridge competition and an overview of other engineering careers

This program is open to high school age underrepresented students of color nationwide and is free.

The Social Engineering Project invites students of color to participate in Part 2 of their virtual camping conference. The conference takes place via Zoom from March 6 through March 20 at 9am.
