The San Francisco Green Festival comes to the Cow Palace in 2015 on November 13, 14, and 15! Green Festival San Francisco is our longest-running show and we are thrilled to be returning to the city for the 14th consecutive year. With city-wide recycling, composting and energy efficiency programs, San Francisco leads the nation in establishing one of the most eco-friendly communities. The San Francisco Department of the Environment has received many accolades for their work including a United Nations award for best green building policies of any city in the world. All city departments are required to buy from an approved list of environmentally preferable or “green” products. SF Environment has also established Environment Now a green jobs training program that provides leadership development and on-the-job training to workers from the city’s most underserved neighborhoods.
