San Francisco International Arts Festival returns to the Fort Mason Center this year and runs from May 21 through June 7 2015. It will include visual arts exhibits and installations and 150 dance, music and theatre performances by more than 70 artists and ensembles representing the Bay Area and 16 countries.
Headlining the Festival will be Teatr Zar from Poland with their powerful new production Armine, Sister. Other leading international artists include one of the most provocative theatre makers in Europe: Belgium’s Fabrice Murqia of Compagnie Artara with a fascinating French language performance piece titled Les Chagrin des Ogres and Áine Ryan from Ireland with her solo performance Kitty in the Lane.
SFIAF is also pleased to announce that there will be free shuttle buses to bring audience members direct to (and from) Fort Mason from downtown San Francisco BART and MUNI subway stations for the duration of the Festival.
