Where:  Northbrae Community Church, 941 The Alameda, Berkeley
A panels discussion on voting will be presented by the League of Women Voters, Berkeley Albany Emeryville.  The panelists are members of several local communities which are generally under-represented in the voting arena. They will describe perceptions of voting in each community, how voting can be encouraged, and answer questions from the audience.  The panel will include representatives from NAACP and BOSS (Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency, which serves very low income and homeless people), as well as Sarah Funes, a Cal student and Andrew Goodman Foundation ambassador; and Rev. Kit Novotny, the Young Adult Minister at First Church Berkeley United Church of Christ.
