Clips from Molly Mosher’s new documentary “Pay to Play: Democracy’s High Stakes” will be shown. Two local non-partisan leaders against hidden campaign contributions, Jay Costa, Executive Director of CouterPac, and Miriam Marks, Data Director of MapLight, will illuminate some of the questions League members will be wrestling with in the new national study on campaign finance.

A three person panel will kick off League of Women Voters Berkeley Albany Emeryville’s study on Money in Politics as part of the national study.

When: October 8, 2015

Time: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Where: Northbrae Community Church, 941 The Alameda, Berkeley

Doors open at 5:15 pm, and an optional buffet supper will be served at 5:30 pm.  The panel presentation at 6:30 pm is free and open to the public.
