Sheli Nan and Susan Siskel bring Berkeley audiences the World Premier of “Last Stop Cafe, An Oratorio for Our Time.”
The Oratorio is about the dilemma we face as baby boomers when our juvenescance and our approaching obsolescence collide. Last stop Cafe is based on the Greek Myth of Kharon who rows the souls across the river Styx. This contemporary take on an ancient theme resonates with us all.
