Get Out The Vote Campaign Kick Off

Join the League of Women Voters for the rousing–and free–kickoff of its Get Out the Vote Campaign. Mindy S. Romero, founder and director of the California Civic Engagement Project (CCEP) at the UC Davis Center for Regional Change, will report new demographic facts and suggest practical tools to help the League and other groups encourage young people and under-represented communities to register and vote. She will respond to audience questions.
Ira Marlowe of the SF Mime Troupe will open the program with several humorous political songs.
