For more than a century, First Congregational Church of Oakland (FCCO) has been a beacon of light and hope, supporting education, the arts, and social justice. Located at 2501 Harrison Street, the building will reach a significant milestone in November of 2025 as it turns 100 years old. After a century of existence, we are still dedicated to being a local hub for a wide variety of community events. The building is also home to several nonprofit organizations.
On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 at 7:00 pm, to celebrate the momentous occasion of its 100 year anniversary, the Glenview Classical Series will host a fundraiser benefit concert at FCCO. All proceeds will go towards some much needed repairs and improvements to the building, the most pressing of which is to get the boiler up and running so that the winter events taking place this year can be heated. Please dress warm!
The performers include Derek Sup on organ, Neal Donovan on guitar, Lewis Patzner on cello, Ariel Wang on violin, Nüxia Peng on piano, and Liz Gobbo on harp.
Please join us for this unforgettable night of music!
