If you want to help express the issues and concerns of your communities, the First Voice Apprenticeship Program at KPFA Radio is now accepting applicants to learn broadcast and media making skills.

This is an 18 month community based program without a tuition fee. Classes are held 2 nights per week and 'on the job' administrative and production training takes place during 1 business day per week.

If you want to help express the issues and concerns of your communities, the First Voice Apprenticeship Program at KPFA Radio is now accepting applicants thru Friday, March 25 at 5pm, to learn broadcast and media making skills.

This is an 18 month community based program without a tuition fee. Classes are held 2 nights per week and ‘on the job’ administrative and production training takes place during 1 business day per week.

The program is multigenerational and multicultural. As senior apprentices, you have the opportunity to produce, engineer and host a weekly radio program.

The extended application deadline is Friday, March 25th at 5pm. A mandatory orientation is scheduled for Thursday, March 31st at 7pm.
