As part of the League of Women Voter’s Environmental Concerns Speaker Series, JR DeLaRosa, Assistant Secretary for Climate Change at the California Natural Resources Agency, will join us from Sacramento to report on the Climate Change Symposium held in August co-sponsored by the Cal Natural Resources Agency and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The conference featured cutting-edge climate research with presentations on climate change and the current drought and its potential impacts on agriculture, sea-level rise and storm surge in SF Bay and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, and measurement of carbon emissions from major cities.
This is an open meeting and visitors are welcome.
