Blues, Baroque and Bars – a free show for the community, for the culture – takes place at 7pm on Sunday, September 11 in Pittsburg, the home town of event organizer & legend, The Dynamic Ms. Faye Carol.
The event site is 250 School Street in Pittsburg.
The event also features world renowned drummer, Dennis Chambers, first-call bassist Tarus Mateen, and pianist/artist director Joe Warner. Blues, Baroque and Bars brings together the totality of Black music and infuses it with a classical flavor to tell stories of triumph, injustice, protest, humor and resilience.
