The County of Alameda passed strong protections to stop most evictions throughout the entire county! The new moratorium protects tenants in Alameda county during and after the emergency. If you can’t pay your rent because of Covid-19-related job loss or reduced work hours, or even if you or someone you care for has Covid-19, you can’t be evicted during this emergency or even after it ends!
