We have more seniors in America today than at any time in history, and every day more than ten-thousand people turn 65! By 2018, demand for home health care will increase by more than 90%. As a student volunteer working with immigrant women on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Ai-Jen Poo saw every day just how little we value the largely female, often undocumented caregiving population.
