Welcome to the B-Side Dojo! A project of the Operations Department Training and Skill Building Program
On today’s hour, you will hear Episode #1 and #2 of the Radio Production 101 Class’ Storytelling Program.
JoAnn Mar, training instructor for KPFA’s Operations Internship program, presents members of her class to share their personal stories about kindness. You will hear how acts of kindness can take all sorts of shapes and forms—providing safe spaces for people in trouble, lending a helping hand to friends and family members, or school teachers reaching out to young students in need. Kindness and generosity can suddenly happen out of nowhere, when it’s least expected. As you will hear from our story tellers, kind acts can have a powerful impact on both the giver and receiver and can often change people’s lives for the better.
KPFA’s Storytelling Program is produced by members of KPFA’s Operations Internship class. Thanks to Kaya Sakamoto, Paula Burch, Peter Stickney, Prema Jackson, Shan Hathaway, Benjamin Tyson, Darlene Pagano, EA, Jose Gonzalez, Shyra Gums, Lucas Bernardino, and Antonio Ortiz.
