Today we talk with the author of Building The Latino future, Frank Carbajal about his book, and we also learn about the film American Violet that will be opening on May 1st.

The United States has the world's largest prison population. Over 2 million people are in prison in this country. A high percentage of this prison population is there as the result of plea bargains. American Violet is a feature film that tells the astonishing story of a young 24 year old woman who was charged as a drug dealer and resisted the pressure to plea bargain and decided to fight the system in Texas to prove her innocence.
