He is the coordinator for the People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy, and he is in India with the movement to stop the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Project. Residents living around the proposed project have launched massive protests, this includes hundreds of hunger strikes and sixty villages have opposed the project.
