APEX Express

Special Broadcast

APEX Express – February 17, 2011

Please show your support for Asian American content on the airwaves. Call in tonight  between 7 and 8 p.m. (during Apex Express) to 1-800-439-5732  or 510-848-5732 or visit online to make a donation; no donation is too small. Let KPFA and Pacifica know that you want Asian American programming to continue.

We are offering a CD of the multicultural jazz group, Kotolán for a donation of $45. But every little helps.

And our line-up for tonight includes a looksie at love and weddings through the lens of wedding photographers including photographers from Orange Photography and Chaz Cruz. We also check in with Ellen Oh with Kearny Street Workshop about their A Sensory Feast exhibition at SOMArts, which includes an installation with the National Bitter Melon Council. Co-Founder Hiroko Kikuchi explains her appreciation for this vegetable and how she thinks it can build community.

With Hosts RJ and Robynn.
