Today, we celebrate Cinco De Mayo in the context of the new immigrant rights revolution; we will go live to Mexico, where the Zapatista Other Campaign, led by Subcommandante Marcos and other supporters, are marching to San Salvador de Atanco to show solidarity with campesinos under attack by government forces; also, we’ll have a report on a demonstration that took place at the Mexican Consulate here in San Francisco; an update on the Chilean hunger strike; we’ll be joined by members of the Flashpoints team and Nancy Charraga to talk about the significance of Cinco de Mayo; plus, Fernando Suarez del Solar, the father of the first soldier killed in the Iraq war speaks out; a commentary by Miguel Gavilan Molina; and Flashpoints en Español.
