This Friday Full Circle stands in solidarity with the hundreds of thousands
of protesters nationwide who’ve taken to the street and suported immigrant
rights. In this show you’ll listen to young voices of protesters in LA. We
will have a closer look to the Farmworkers through a feature produced by
Esther Manilla and Carmen Iniguez, and in the same topic, Baldemar
Velasquez, president of the FLOC tells us his experience as a child of
migrant Farmworkers. You’ll learn about of a group of young people that
reconect with their ancestors by rescueing an almost extinct mexican
musical style. And Imogene Tondre reflects on the Day Workers, immigrants
stand on the street waiting to get work.
