In this first show we meet some of the women of the Women’s magazine
and hear voices of well known feminists including Cherrie Moraga,
Julia Sudberry and Vandana Shiva and others. We also focus on the
issue of women in Militarism with an interview with International
Development and Women’s Studies professor Cynthia Enloe and an
interview with Gulf War veteran Monique Code who discusses the effects
of military service on her as a women of color.
