Who are the Lyttons?
Host Janeen Antoine interviews investigative reporter Thomas Peele of the
Contra Costa Times, author of "Who are the Lyttons: The Making of an East
Bay Casino." His special report appeared 12/12/04 in the newspaper, after
four months of scouring public records to better understand the people who
make up this much-maligned and long-suffering band, now standing on the cusp
of riches. We will also have a bit of music by Jim Boyd and Sherman Alexie,
titled “Urban Indian Blues,” and a background piece by George Leach called
“Indian Blues" for the Bay Area Indian Calendar.
