KPFA’s Community Advisory Board (CAB), the local group mandated by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, is charged with assessing and reporting the needs of the community served by KPFA to the governing board and management of KPFA.
Members are appointed by the Local Station Board and meetings are held once per month, usually on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. To nominate someone for KPFA’s CAB click here: CAB Nomination Form Check this website to confirm the date, time and place of the next meeting. The KPFA Community Advisory Board provides a vehicle for community input to the KPFA Local Station Board and General Manager about station programming, community service and impact on the community from the station’s major policy decisions. Members of the CAB gather information from individuals and organizations to assist the station in developing programs and policies that address the specific needs of listeners and potential listeners particularly in our signal range.
