Alicia Garza (@aliciagarza) is an activist, writer, and public speaker, currently organizing with Black Futures Lab, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, and co-founder of Black Lives Matter. The Black Futures Lab (@blackfutureslab) just published the results of The Black Census – the largest survey of Black people conducted in the United States since Reconstruction. Launched in early 2018, the Black Census Project asked over 30,000 Black people about their experiences, views and opinions about politics, society and the opportunities and challenges facing Black communities and the nation.
