Co-founder of Black Lives Matter and founder of Dignity and Power Now, she is also a performance artist, Fulbright scholar, popular public speaker, and an NAACP History Maker. Her latest book is When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir.” She spoke with Cat Brooks at a live KPFA event in Oakland on January 25, 2018.
