House Republicans are racing to pass their behemoth 429-page tax reform bill just days after the Congressional Budget Office estimated that the $1.5 trillion in tax cuts will automatically trigger major cuts to Medicare. The Senate version of the same bill includes an end to the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act, leaving many to wonder if the GOP is turning their tax bill into a healthcare reform bill. We’ll speak with Lindsay Koshgarian of National Priorities Project for more.
