The Morning Mix – Gil Tract; Poverty, Jobs & Immigration; Couch Surfing; Forward Together

Last week, the University of California began legal proceedings against the Gil Tract Farmers Collective, a group of local activists and families who took over a 5-acre plot Albany, CA. Anya Kamenskaya and Gopal Dayaneni of Movement Generation are among those charged for occupying the Gil Tract. The legal case is very broad, including friends and allies as well as those arrested at the site.
