APEX Express

APEX Express – July 26, 2007

A look at the US/Korea Free Trade Agreement, or Korus, which was signed by representatives of Korea and the US on June 30. We look at the implications of Korus, which is the largest Free Trade Bill since NAFTA back in 1994. Also, we explore the impact that militarization has had on the island of Guam, and the Chamoru people, who are indigenous to the island. As the US ramps up to import 8,000 marines to the island, what will the repercussions be for the people? Also, a look at Amerasian Identity in the United States. And finally a tribute to Bill Sorro on the 30th anniversary of the I Hotel. With hosts: Rainjita G and Wayie.
