The Morning Show focuses on Famine and Chaos in Somalia with Abdi Samatar, Prof of Geography and Political Economy at the Univ. of Minnesota, then gets an update on two Bay Area Journalists on Trial in North Korea. David Bacon, Morning Show labor correspondent, will highlight efforts to organize janitorial workers at Cisco Systems in the South Bay. In the second hour a look at the California's Budget Nightmare with Christopher Martinez, KPFA Sacramento Correspondent. Wrapping up the program a look at Obama's "cyber-security identity management vision" with Annalee Newitz, contributing editor to Wired magazine.
