The Morning Show discusses the President's Swine Flu Report with Harold Varmus, Nobel Prize Laureate in medicine, co-chair on Obama’s Advisory council on Science and Technology. Then talks with Dr Robert Benjamin, Chief Deputy Health Officer for Alameda County, about preparations locally. David Bacon, labor correspondent, is in at 7:30. Then in the second hour David Swanson, Board member of Progressive Democrats for America, talks about local organizing for health care reform. Wrapping up the program Dean Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research discusses the reappointment of Ben Bernanke to Chair the Federal Reserve.
